Enter into the main level large open-plan living, dining, and kitchen. The large deck is located off this main level, with a seating area, BBQ, and lovely views into the trees.

The main level has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom: timber ceilings, and a lovely wood fireplace for those cozy winter nights ( firewood not supplied). The lower level has another 2 bedrooms, 1 offering a workspace and bathroom.

The laundry is available for guest use. The lodge is a perfect, peaceful place for your next getaway.

Please note that the DRIVEWAY IS VERY STEEP AND WE DONT RECCOMEND LOW PROFILE VEHICLES!!!!

Guests have access to the entire lodge - except the garage and lockout area. 

Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and short-term renters are not permitted access to the Lake, Lake trails, Peninsula Park, and Grass Valley Park as of September 28th, 2020.  

Lake Gregory in Crestline, Lake Silverwood, and Big Bear Lake in Big Bear are available lakes for swimming, fishing, and walking trails. Lake availability will vary by season.

This is a quiet neighborhood and has a full-time neighbor next door (there are noise monitoring devices on the property, as required by the county). We ask that quiet hours be adhered to at all times.

The street is an access road and therefore is not plowed by the county. Management will clear the driveway and stairs for arrival and departure, however, guests are required to keep snow cleared for their stay. There is snow melt for your stay to be used on the driveway and stairs. 

Please note that access to this home does require a 4WD vehicle during the winter season. The neighborhood roads are not always completely plowed when a storm occurs, so it is very important to drive cautiously and be prepared.

The BBQ is propane, propane is not provided, but if some is left by a previous guest it may be used or exchanged locally.

We do not enjoy removing pets or additional guests from the home as well as charging additional fees.

We kindly ask that guests follow all house rules to avoid any issues.

This home does not allow pets.

**This is NOT a party home! If you plan on breaking any of the house rules, including but not limited to: There is no smoking inside or outside the property, this includes but not limited to Cigarettes, Marijuana, and Cigars. If we smell smoke in the home there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee. The guest is responsible for replacement costs if we find burn marks on any furniture.

We do not enjoy removing pets or additional guests from the home as well as charging additional fees. We kindly ask that guests follow all house rules to avoid any issues. Smoking inside or outside the home, any type of drug usage legal or not, underage drinking, violating quiet hours, exceeding occupancy limits or vehicle limits please do to rent this home. We do not enjoy removing people from our homes, but the safety of our guests, home, and neighbors comes first.

The Dogwood Cabins is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 7 pm. You may call or text. If there is an emergency please call the number provided and we will respond immediately.

We highly recommend carrying chains/cables with tensioners during the winter. CalTrans will have chain checkpoints and require you to show them or in some cases put them on. to be allowed up the mountain. We do not refund for inclement weather or fires. However, we do reschedule.

-Quiet Hours Friday – Saturday 9 pm to 9 am

-This is a full-time neighborhood please be mindful of loud music and outside noise during quiet hours.

-This is not a “Party House” please treat the home with the love and care the owners do.

-No underage drinking

-No drug use of any kind, this includes marijuana.

-No smoking inside or outside the property. This includes but is not limited to marijuana, cigarettes, pipe, cigars, or vape pens. If we smell any smoke/marijuana inside the home, there will be an additional $250 fee.

-No outdoor fires of any kind.

This home is not recommended for low-profile vehicles, as the driveway is very steep. Management takes no responsibility for vehicles not being able to access them.
