Hello, We are so excited that you have chosen to stay with us at Little Chip managed by The Dogwood Cabins! We hope to make your stay as smooth as possible, here are some FAQs and answers about your cabin :) 1. Q) Can we have an early check-in or out? A) Yes, we always offer either if possible. Just contact us the day before arrival or departure. 2. Q) Can we go to Lake Arrowhead? A) Lake Arrowhead is a private lake :( access to the lake is not allowed. The Village is open to the public.

BUT Lake Gregory is only a short drive 15mins. It is open to the public and has great summer fun activities, rental boats, cafes, beautiful walks around the lake, and fishing :) 3. How many cars can we park? A) The county allows 4 ONLY there is NO street parking allowed. Parking fines can be imposed by the county and are the responsibility of the guests: ( 4. Q) Can we BBQ? A)  

Yes, the is a propane grill. Open flame BBQing is not allowed due to the high fire danger in this community. 5. Q) Is there linens? A) Yes, we supply all bedding with lots of spares for the cooler months, bath towels, and beach towels in summer :) 6. Q) What basic items are supplied? A) There is toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, bath soaps, and shampoo. 7. Q) Is there a pack n play and highchair? A) Yes, we have both for your little ones :) 8. Q) Are the fireplaces wood burning or gas & is there AC? A)gas A)No A/C 9. Q) Do we need to take the trash? A) No, we will take care of all trash. Just place in bins :) 10. Q) Do we need chains in winter? A) Yes, we always advise carrying chains, checking road conditions, and closures in the winter months. Roads can be icy. If you have any other questions they can most likely be found in the listing details, otherwise, we are here to assist you :) The Dogwood Cabins 

The Dogwood Cabins is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 7 pm. You may call or text. If there is an emergency please call the number provided and we will respond immediately.

This is a full-time neighborhood please be mindful of loud music and outside noise during quiet hours.

Quiet Hours Sunday – Thursday 8 am to 9 pm

Quiet Hours Friday – Saturday 8 am to 10 pm

This home is located within a short distance of a church and may have some noise on a Sunday morning.

*Due to COVID-19* The Mountain is experiencing a propane shortage, and you may have a hard time finding propane locally on the Mountain.

We highly recommend carrying chains/cables with tensioners during the winter. CalTrans will have chain checkpoints and require you to show them or in some cases put them on. to be allowed up the mountain.

**Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and short-term renters are not permitted access to the Lake, Lake trails, Peninsula Park, and Grass Valley Park as of September 28th, 2020. Available lakes for swimming, fishing, and walking trails are Lake Gregory in Crestline, Lake Silverwood, and Big Bear Lake in Big Bear. Lake availability will vary by season.

**This is NOT a party home! If you plan on breaking any of the house rules, including but not limited to:

There is no smoking inside or outside the property, this includes but is not limited to Cigarettes, Marijuana, and Cigars. If we smell smoke in the home there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee. If we find burn marks in any furniture, the guest is responsible for replacement costs.

We do not enjoy removing pets or additional guests from the home as well as charging additional fees. We kindly ask that guests follow all house rules to avoid any issues.

Smoking inside or outside the home, any type of drug usage legal or not, underage drinking, violating quiet hours, exceeding occupancy limits or vehicle limits please do to rent this home. We do not enjoy removing people from our home, but the safety of our guests, home, and neighbors comes first.

-This is a full-time neighborhood please be mindful of loud music and outside noise during quiet hours.

-This is not a “Party House” please treat the home with the love and care the owners do.

-No underage drinking

-No drug use of any kind, this includes marijuana.

-No smoking inside or outside the property. This includes but is not limited to marijuana, cigarettes, pipe, cigars, or vape pens. If we smell any smoke/marijuana inside the home, there will be an additional $250 fee.

-No outdoor fires of any kind

-If this is a Pet-Friendly home, all pets must be approved by management. Please pick up all feces left behind by your pet and place in the outside trashcan.
