Other Details to Note

We require all guests to sign our contract prior to entry into the home. The home has a faux log fireplace in the Living Room, do not burn real wood in the fireplace. The home has central heat, but the upper-level bedrooms have space heaters for heat. There is no Air Conditioning in this home. The BBQ is propane, propane is not provided, but if some is left by a previous guest it may be used or exchanged locally. *Due to COVID-19* The Mountain is experiencing a propane shortage, and you may have a hard time finding propane locally on the Mountain. The TVs have either Apple TV or Firesticks. The Living Room and Family Room have DVD players with several DVDs. We highly recommend carrying chains/cables with tensioners during the winter. CalTrans will have chain checkpoints and require you to show them or in some cases put them on. to be allowed up the mountain. **Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and short-term renters are not permitted access to the Lake, Lake trails, Peninsula Park, and Grass Valley Park as of September 28th, 2020. Available lakes for swimming, fishing, and walking trails are Lake Gregory in Crestline, Lake Silverwood, and Big Bear Lake in Big Bear. Lake availability will vary by season. **This is NOT a party home! If you plan on breaking any of the house rules, including but not limited to: There is no smoking inside or outside the property, this includes but not limited to Cigarettes, Marijuana, and Cigars. If we smell smoke in the home there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee. If we find burn marks in any furniture, the guest is responsible for replacement costs. We do not enjoy removing pets or additional guests from the home as well as charging additional fees. We kindly ask that guests follow all house rules to avoid any issues. Smoking inside or outside the home, any type of drug usage legal or not, underage drinking, violating quiet hours, exceeding occupancy limits or vehicle limits please do to rent this home. We do not enjoy removing people from our home, but the safety of our guests, home, and neighbors comes first. This home does not allow pets. Service dog fraud is a crime. CA Penal Code 365.7 Punishment may be up to a maximum penalty of $1,000 per instance and up to 6 months in jail. Please note that service animals are defined by the ADA as: Dogs that are individually trained to do worker perform tasks for people with disabilities. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do NOT qualify as service animals. under the ADA. Any attempt to present a comfort or emotional support service animal or pet as a service dog is fraud. When the home is not rented and occupied, the home is owner occupied, including with a family member who has severe pet dander allergies. By not having guests with pets in the home we also assure guests with serious pet dander allergies, asthma or other serious health issues may also book this home, so we are unable to accommodate pets. Additionally, homeowner’s insurance is inordinately high for vacation rentals, and limited, particularly in this region, a fire zone. The policy on this home is expensive and does not allow dogs, regardless of breed. Regardless, the law requires any request for a reasonable accommodation to be made in advance, so if you feel your circumstances reflect an exception, you must contact us to discuss before renting so we can assess on a case by case basis. Your animal will be required to leave if you do not proceed accordingly and demonstrate the need for a reasonable accommodation exists. Our agency has homes that permit dogs and we can give you resources and leads for other rentals able to accommodate you. HOUSE RULES 1. Guests & Occupancy The home is for registered guests only and must follow county occupancy limits for your rental. Please confirm your guest count when booking. 2. Parking No street parking is allowed. Please park only in designated spaces and stay within the county’s vehicle limit. Fines may apply for extra vehicles. 3. Pets Pets are only allowed with prior approval and a paid pet fee (if permitted for your rental). Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 fee. Please supervise pets when outside, as wildlife is common in the area. 4. Check-Out & Late Departure Please follow the check-out instructions in the House Manual. Unauthorized late departures may incur additional fees. 5. Cleaning The home will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Extra cleaning fees may apply if check-out procedures aren’t followed. 6. No Smoking or Drug Use Smoking of any kind (including marijuana and vaping) is not allowed inside or on the property. A $1,000 fee applies if smoke or residue is detected. 7. Property Condition Please report any issues or damage upon arrival so we can address them promptly. Some amenities such as Wi-Fi or cable may be affected by mountain weather. 8. Property Alterations Please don’t move furniture, hang items, or make changes to the property. 9. No Subletting Only registered guests may stay. Located right off the highway, this home is around the corner from the local town of Cedar Glen where you can access restaurants, a small grocery store, and a gas station. Cedar Glen Inn and the Malt Shop are two of our well-loved local dining establishments, and are located less than a mile from the Dragon's Den! This is a full-time neighborhood with full-time residents. We do ask that the quiet hours are followed.

We had such a great stay at the Dogwood cabin, it’s perfect for larger families and all the living room spaces allowed us to be comfortable. The kids room was a hit with the out littles they played for hours in that room! We also enjoyed the game room and played pool and used the table in the game room to play cards! The home and bathrooms were clean and each bed had a blanket and towel, the kitchen had all the pots and pans needed to cook for the whole family. We enjoyed our stay so much we are already planning on booking again!

We are a family of 11 that always travel toghether, and we loved staying at Cabin, we went snow tubing at Snow Valley ita was only 30 minutes away. The village and the lake its just 6 minutes away! We definitely recommend you to visit and book your stay here 😊

The Dogwood Cabin was beautifully exceptional. It has a warm cabin ambience. We had 9 guests that fit perfectly without a squeeze. Big rooms with comfy beds. Kitchen came with everything you need and more. The double stove made cooking a breeze. The kitchens breakfast nook was cozy. Perfect dining area for formal dinners. Upstairs play room was perfect for the kids. Bathrooms were all spacious with towels provided. Theatre surround sound made it feel like we were in our own movie theatre. The bonus was it came with a decorated Christmas tree. The stater bros literally was only 8 mins away. Definitely a place to stay that makes you feel right at home.

Great place with lots of space. The little ones stayed upstairs while the adults hung out downstairs. The pool table was a plus and so we're all the board games.

There is a Mini Jensen's Grocery Store close by and Cedar Glenn Shopping Center with a few restaurants that are walkable. Lake Arrowhead Village is 1.8 miles away, BlueJay Village is 3.4 miles, SkyPark Santa's Village is 2.7 miles, Snow Valley Ski Resort is 14 miles and Big Bear is 25 miles away.
