Good to know

This cabin is a great space for a family to stay and/or to work remotely. It is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It is best suited for a max of four adults and some kiddos in the mix. There is an upstairs loft with a queen bed. The main level has an open layout living room & kitchen, and a guest room with a queen bed. There is a full bathroom on each level of the home. On the lowest level, there is the kid's room with bunk beds, toys and books. There is also a room with a full size bed, TV & desk adjacent to the kid’s room. The cabin can accommodate up to 10 guests and two cars total. I cannot accommodate beyond this per the county permit. This is strictly enforced. Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the locked closets. Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and there are restrictions for guests. As a vacation renter, you can charter a boat or waterski/kneeboard/wakeboard by booking through McKenzie Ski School, tour of the lake on the Arrowhead Queen, both are located in Lake Arrowhead Village. If you want to rent a boat, kayak, play in the sand, or fish, we recommend these public lakes just outside of Arrowhead: Lake Gregory (5 miles/~15-20 min drive). Here is where you can fish from the shore , picnic, hike, swim, boat, kayak and paddle board on the 84 acre lake. The public swim beach has water slides, and an inflatable water park. You will be able to rent kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats and small boats. Lake Gregory is open from Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Other Details to Note

Parking is for 2 vehicles (depending on the size of your vehicles) only in the driveway. No street parking is allowed per county rules. Do not block neighbors' driveway or park in neighbors' driveway. Fines can be imposed for any county codes being broken and are the responsibility of the guests to pay. You will need a county fishing permit to fish at Lake Gregory. We highly recommend carrying chains/cables with tensioners during the winter. CalTrans will have chain checkpoints and require you to show them or in some cases put them on. To be allowed up the mountain. We do not refund for inclement weather. The BBQ is propane, propane is not provided, but if some is left by a previous guest it may be used or exchanged locally. **This is NOT a party home! If you plan on breaking any of the house rules, including but not limited to: There is no smoking inside or outside the property, this includes but is not limited to Cigarettes, Marijuana, and Cigars. If we smell smoke in the home there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee. The guest is responsible for replacement costs if we find burn marks on any furniture. We do not enjoy removing pets ( if not added to the reservation) or additional guests from the home as well as charging additional fees. We kindly ask that guests follow all house rules to avoid any issues. Smoking inside or outside the home, any type of drug usage legal or not, underage drinking, violating quiet hours, exceeding occupancy limits or vehicle limits please do to rent this home. We do not enjoy removing people from our homes, but the safety of our guests, home, and neighbors comes first.

HOUSE RULES 1. Guests & Occupancy The home is for registered guests only and must follow county occupancy limits for your rental. Please confirm your guest count when booking. 2. Parking No street parking is allowed. Please park only in designated spaces and stay within the county’s vehicle limit. Fines may apply for extra vehicles. 3. Pets Pets are only allowed with prior approval and a paid pet fee (if permitted for your rental). Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 fee. Please supervise pets when outside, as wildlife is common in the area. 4. Check-Out & Late Departure Please follow the check-out instructions in the House Manual. Unauthorized late departures may incur additional fees. 5. Cleaning The home will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Extra cleaning fees may apply if check-out procedures aren’t followed. 6. No Smoking or Drug Use Smoking of any kind (including marijuana and vaping) is not allowed inside or on the property. A $1,000 fee applies if smoke or residue is detected. 7. Property Condition Please report any issues or damage upon arrival so we can address them promptly. Some amenities such as Wi-Fi or cable may be affected by mountain weather. 8. Property Alterations Please don’t move furniture, hang items, or make changes to the property. 9. No Subletting Only registered guests may stay. Subletting or transferring your booking is not allowed. 10. Property Access Management may enter the home for maintenance, inspections, or emergencies with prior notice whenever possible. 11. County Rules All guests must comply with county short-term rental laws, including occupancy, parking, and noise limits. 12. Security Cameras Outdoor security cameras may be in use for property safety. No cameras monitor indoor spaces. 13. Weather Notice During winter months, carry tire chains and be prepared for possible power outages due to mountain weather. Refunds are not provided for weather-related interruptions. 14. Neighborhood

This is a quiet neighborhood and we ask that guests follow the house rules and quiet hours. Any guest in violation of the house rules will be subject to removal from the home and responsible for any fines incurred by management and the county. Lake Arrowhead is a small mountain community, with lots fun things to do all year round. Lake Gregory at Crestline offers lake activities. Walk to your favorite coffee shop at The Village in Lake Arrowhead and then a relaxing walk browsing the stores. Little Chip is is 15 minutes to Blue Jay, 10 minutes to Lake Arrowhead, and 45 minutes to Big Bear. A great location to visit all your favorite mountain cities.

We stayed in this cabin this past weekend and it was great , peaceful and fast communication . We need it a blender and when I asked the host they delivered it to us within an hour great stay , kid friendly . Loved the neighborhood

Peaceful neighborhood, breathtaking views, oh the fresh clean air. The nights were a quiet I haven’t experienced in my adult life, slept like babies! Kids playing in the neighborhood were happy and respectful. The neighbors were kind and helpful. We look forward to the next 4th of July! Customer service was second to none! The swing in the backyard will take you back! We loved it…. When you get to the end of the street look for the red door and you’re home. Only negative, was we wish we got lake access with our rental.
